2008/2009 Grant Program

The grant component of F.E.E.E. is designed to encourage ideas and dreams among educators to reach beyond what is expected and to further the educational experience in Easton through new and innovative programs.

The following proposals were awarded grants as part of the 2008/2009 FEEE Grant Program:

Previously awarded grants have enabled the creation of a CD-ROM of historic photos of Easton, the purchase of hardware and software for computer-aided drafting in the Industrial Technology Department, purchase of heart rate monitors for the Physical Education Department, and the development of literacy kits for Kindergarten and 1st Grade students.

A copy of the letter sent to Easton Educators (PDF file) sent on February 1, 2008, about this year's grant program can be seen by following that link. Here are some key points from the letter:

The total budget for grants this year is approximately $14,000.

bullet

Each grant is limited to a maximum of $2,000.

bullet

Grants are open to teachers and teacher-sponsored extra-curricular activities in all the Easton Schools.

Copies of approved grants from last year are available in the school offices for reference, if desired.
