Calling all Volleyball Enthusiasts!

The Foundation for Excellence in Education in Easton (F.E.E.E.) is bringing back its Co-Ed Volleyball Fundraising Tournament.  This tournament is for anyone who would like to play the great game of volleyball and raise money for our schools.  No experience necessary!

The tournament is scheduled to begin Friday, November 21, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. with the recreational division and continues Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. with the competitive division.  Each volleyball team will consist of 8-10 players.  Matches are played with 6 players on the court and two of the 6 on court players must be women.  Each player must be at least high school age (freshman and older).  The donation for each team to participate is $200.  This includes 8 t-shirts and provides a minimum of two matches per team.  All matches will be held at the Oliver Ames High School gymnasiums.

All proceeds will be donated to the Town of Easton school programs and their technology needs.  F.E.E.E. is a non-profit, all volunteer organization whose mission is to raise funds to help enhance the educational experience of Easton's students.  Our goal is to have participation from many different groups, and organizations such as schools, religious groups, town departments, neighborhoods and local businesses.  This is sure to be a fun and rewarding event for all of those involved.

Each team must have a completed Application and Consent Form signed by all participants.  Any team members under the age of 18 must have a completed Child Consent Form to participate.  The deadline for participation is Monday, November 3, 2008.

Don't have a full team roster?  We may be able to match you up with another group to form a complete team.  Any players interested in playing but don't have enough players for a team please email Ileen Wright at wrightmsib@comcast.net.

Applications and consents can be printed from the links above, or may be picked up at Oliver Ames High School, and the Superintendent's Office.  For more information or questions please call F.E.E.E. at (508) 230-3200, x408.
